Night Church PZ

Update Nov 7th 25
It is beautiful to see the NightChurch community growing, the care, creativity, and gifts that everyone brings. This week we shared an amazing meal cooked by one of our guests, thank you, chef
. Last week Bishop David joined us and prayed for the gathering. So echoing that blessing … here’s to the musicians, the artists, the cooks, and EVERY person who makes this space what it is. We’re so glad you’re here.

Next Wednesday the wonderful @kemenethprintstudio will be joining us for a Lino print workshop.
NightChurch has a new logo!
One Wednesday evening, while welcoming a new guest, who asked, ‘What’s going on?’ I smiled and said, ‘Welcome to NightChurch, we’re making pizzas, come and join us!’ And they did! It was the reply, ‘But it isn’t night,’ that stayed with me. It led me to reflect on the journey of NightChurch so far. We have welcomed many guests, some who have become regulars and others just passing through, including holidaymakers and visitors from afar. It continues to be a privilege for us to listen to people’s stories and walk alongside them.

As we listen, respond and partner with God in his mission, we are also mindful that NightChurch is not static, it is growing and evolving with the needs of our community. We considered these moments of welcome, our conversations with guests and neighbours, the way Wednesday gatherings are unfolding and the NightChurch vision: a place of hope and transformation, where everyone can flourish, find belonging and discover their place in community. With that in mind, we began thinking about visual identity. Drawing on past experience working with brands and after exploring how visual elements can communicate purpose and values, we collaborated with Eira Hopkins to create a new logo. The brief: A design that reflects growth and captures the heart of NightChurch, inspired by John 10:10 ‘I have come that all may have life, and life in all its fullness.’ The new logo retains the familiar NCPZ, layered over a circle and a dove, symbolising presence, peace and unity. Huge thanks to Eira for her design work. We are excited to share it with you and hope you love it as much as we do. – Victoria and the NightChurch Team
