‘If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. But if you are not listened to, take one or two others along with you, so that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax-collector. Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Breakfast and Breathe This group for parents and carers meets every Monday at St Mary’s at 9:30am. We share breakfast, friendship and fellowship. We have craft activities and also have an optional gentle faith-related activity. Please let Hilary know if you are coming to this so we know numbers.

Proposed Pastoral Scheme affecting Penlee Cluster – Consultation
The Truro Diocesan Mission and Pastoral Committee has prepared a draft Pastoral Scheme for our four churches in the Cluster, which will unify them as one benefice. The scheme includes a number of important proposals for reorganisation and we are all invited to make representations either for or against by 14th September. Hosts required for St Mary’s
St Mary’s is open everyday from 10am until 12 midday. Our church is a place where people of all circumstances and backgrounds are welcomed. From tourists to people seeking solace and peace, to those who wish to light a candle in memory of a loved one or to pray. It is an important part of our outreach and of our pastoral ministry. Hosts need to be able to welcome people to listen to their stories, to offer prayer if required, and to make coffee. Please contact Penny if you would like to explore this way of serving our Lord and our community.
Cluster Harvest Service
Sunday 27th September at 11am.
Everyone across the cluster is invited to come together for a Harvest celebration at St Pol de Leon, where we will collect items for the foodbank and give thanks for all of God’s provision, in our lives and in our wider communities.
Current requests for the Foodbank include tinned vegetables and fruit, tea bags, coffee and sugar, tinned meals and soups; all very appropriate for harvest gifts. We’ll update the requests ahead of the service, but please feel free to buy any of the above as you go shopping. Thank you! Rev Jacky
At NightChurch,
we gathered to say farewell to Kay, who is beginning a new chapter in Scotland with her husband, Hugh.
Kay has faithfully served with us for the past two years, and her support has been invaluable in shaping and nurturing this growing community. We are so grateful for the time, compassion and care she has given, and for all that she has brought to the life of NightChurch.
We thanked Vicky and Eliza for their faithful service. Their commitment helped to keep NightChurch going during an important season of transition. During the reflection time, we paused to recognise both an ending and a beginning.
“We honour what has been shared. We give thanks for what has been. We are excited for all that is ahead.
We trust that God is present on both sides of the goodbye, holding those who stay and those who leave.

Holiday Club
Holiday Club will end with a celebration on Sunday 6th September where we look forward to sharing some of our experiences with you. We have had lots of positive feedback from staff and volunteers and thanks from families. It has been a pleasure to be part of holiday club this summer making so many happy memories for children in this area.
Thank you again for everyone’s generous support, prayers and best wishes over the 6 weeks of the summer holiday.

The Marriage Blessing
The marriage blessing and renewal of vows between Thapedi Kealeboga Irvin Mawela and Charlotte Amelia Mawela (nee O’Neill) will take place at St Peter’s Church on Saturday 12th September at 12.30. Charlotte and Thapidi were married in South Africa where they both live and work. Thaps is South African and Charlotte is from Newlyn where she worshipped at St Peter’s as a child. She has lived in South Africa for the last few years. Please pray for them as they renew their Marriage vows and ask for God’s Blessing on their marriage. The service will reflect both South African and British cultures as their own families continue to blend with their union as man and wife! Derath
