Trevor Smitheram will be recalling the life and achievements of Rick Rescorla, the Hayle man whose brave rescue of many trapped in the Twin Towers tragedy is commemorated in a memorial stone by the Hayle waterside.

Come at 7pm for a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles, included in the £5 entrance, 7.30pm the talk begins, lasting about an hour with time for questions, then retiring to the back of church for more informal chatting and finishing off the nibbles with more wine on sale to wash them down.
